We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.
4. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies
We use or may use third-party advertising, analytics, attribution, and measurement technologies, including Meta Pixel, Google advertising and analytics tags, and Amazon Ads or Amazon Attribution technologies. These technologies may use cookies, pixels, tags, APIs, or similar tools to collect or receive information about activity on our Site and interactions with advertisements.
Depending on the technology and our configuration, information may include IP address, browser and device information, cookie or advertising identifiers, pages or products viewed, referral information, ad interactions, shopping events, and conversion events such as purchases. We use this information to understand Site activity, measure campaign performance, attribute conversions, build or manage audiences, prevent fraud, and support advertising or retargeting where permitted.
Third parties, including Meta, Google, and Amazon, may place or use cookies or similar technologies on our Site and may use information received from our Site in accordance with their own privacy policies and advertising terms. Where applicable, those providers may use information to measure ads or show ads based on interests or prior interactions across websites, apps, or services.
We do not intend to send payment card numbers, account passwords, or other information that advertising platforms prohibit from being transmitted through advertising pixels or tags. We also configure and use advertising tools subject to applicable platform rules and legal requirements.
Meta
Where enabled, Meta Pixel and related Meta business tools may help us measure activity resulting from Facebook or Instagram advertising, create advertising audiences, and improve ad relevance and campaign performance. Meta may receive browser, device, cookie, and event information through these technologies.
Where enabled, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google tags, or related Google services may help us understand Site usage, measure advertising effectiveness, attribute conversions, create remarketing or audience segments, and support personalized advertising where permitted. You may be able to control personalized advertising through Google's advertising settings and through choices available on our Site or browser.
Amazon Ads and Amazon Attribution
Where enabled, Amazon advertising tags, conversion pixels, or Amazon Attribution may help us measure how advertising contributes to visits, shopping activity, and purchases on our Site. Amazon and its advertising technologies may place or use cookies or similar technologies and may use information for advertising measurement or interest-based advertising in accordance with Amazon's applicable terms and privacy practices.
You may be able to opt out of interest-based advertising from Amazon through Amazon Ads Preferences and may also use industry opt-out tools made available by organizations such as the Digital Advertising Alliance, where applicable.
5. Amazon Fulfillment
When you order from our Site, we may provide the information necessary to fulfill your order to Amazon or another fulfillment provider, including your name, shipping address, contact information, order details, and delivery instructions.
Amazon's role as a fulfillment provider for an order placed through our Site does not mean that the order was purchased through the Amazon marketplace.
6. Subscriptions
If you enroll in a Vensyl subscription, we and our subscription technology providers process information needed to create and manage recurring orders, including subscription products, billing and delivery frequency, renewal status, payment-related identifiers, and account preferences.
Our subscription functionality is currently provided using Joy Subscription. You may manage or cancel your subscription using the subscription management functionality available through the Site, subject to the terms shown when you subscribe.
7. Email Marketing and Newsletters
We may use MailerLite, Klaviyo, and Mailchimp to manage subscriber lists, send newsletters and promotional communications, automate email journeys, segment audiences, measure engagement, and improve our communications.
When you subscribe to marketing communications or otherwise lawfully become eligible to receive them, we may provide these service providers with information such as your name, email address, subscription or consent status, purchase or browsing information where integrated and permitted, email engagement information, and related customer or campaign attributes.
These providers may process personal information on our behalf to provide their services and may also process certain information for their own legitimate operational purposes as described in their applicable terms and privacy notices.
You can unsubscribe from promotional email communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in the email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending non-promotional messages necessary to provide our services, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, subscription notices, account messages, or responses to support requests.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, APIs, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand Site usage, prevent fraud, manage subscriptions, measure marketing, and support advertising and retargeting.
Depending on applicable law and the technologies in use, you may be able to manage non-essential cookies and certain advertising choices through a cookie or privacy preference tool on our Site, through your browser settings, or through controls provided by the relevant advertising platform.
Blocking certain cookies may affect Site functionality. Browser-level deletion of cookies may also reset some privacy preferences, requiring you to make those selections again.
Where required by applicable law, we will honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), to the extent they apply to our processing and can be reasonably associated with your browser or device.
9. Marketing Communications
If you choose to receive promotional emails or other marketing communications, you may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us.
Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send transactional or service-related communications, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, subscription notices, or customer service messages.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide products and services, maintain business and tax records, operate marketing preferences and suppression lists, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the nature of our relationship with you, and applicable legal requirements.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no internet transmission, website, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:
· request access to or information about personal information we hold about you;
· request correction of inaccurate personal information;
· request deletion of certain personal information;
· request a portable copy of certain personal information;
· opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of personal information where those rights apply;
· limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable; and
· appeal a decision on a privacy request where applicable.
To submit a privacy request, email hello@vensyl.com. Because Vensyl operates primarily online, email is our primary privacy request method. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
13. Interest-Based Advertising and Opt-Out Choices
You may have several ways to reduce or opt out of interest-based or targeted advertising, depending on your location and the services in use. These may include our Site privacy controls, browser settings, Global Privacy Control where legally applicable, Google advertising settings, Meta advertising preferences, Amazon Ads Preferences, and industry opt-out tools such as those offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance.
Opting out of interest-based advertising does not necessarily mean you will stop seeing advertisements; it generally means that ads may be less tailored to your interests.
14. California Privacy Rights
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to Vensyl and to your personal information, California residents may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service and pricing when exercising privacy rights, subject to statutory exceptions.
We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. Certain disclosures involving advertising cookies, pixels, tags, or audience technologies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California law even when no money changes hands. Where applicable, you may exercise an opt-out right through privacy controls provided on the Site, by using a legally recognized opt-out preference signal such as GPC, or by contacting us.
If we are not subject to a particular California privacy requirement because statutory applicability thresholds are not met, we may still choose to respond to privacy requests voluntarily where reasonably practicable.
15. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under state law. Where an applicable state privacy law applies to Vensyl, we will process eligible requests in accordance with that law, including any applicable verification, response, appeal, and opt-out requirements.
To exercise an applicable state privacy right, contact us at hello@vensyl.com.
16. Children's Privacy
Our Site and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
17. International Visitors
The Vensyl USA store is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, subject to applicable law.
18. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review those policies.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
